On October 4, 2004, THE WILDS of the Rockies property was sold to Jeff and Linda Peotter. Jeff and Linda have been friends and supporters of our ministry for many years. They intend to develop the property into home sites that will be more in line with the residential nature of the property in that area.

Obviously, with the closing of the ministry in Colorado our staff was greatly impacted. We have listed below a little follow-up information on each of them and have included their former positions with the camp for your reference. Steve Stodola, Director, is now the Assistant to the Director at THE WILDS in North Carolina. Andy DalPorto, Camp Maintenance Supervisor, brings his many talents to the maintenance staff at North Carolina. Matt Tracy was contracted to be a cook in North Carolina prior to the closing of THE WILDS of the Rockies. He is now serving in our food service department and is married to the campsite's office manager. Program Director Brian Olsen has remained in Colorado and has established Pine Ridge Ministries for the purpose of starting a new camp in the Rocky Mountains. We were able to leave much of our equipment behind to help him as he follows God's leading in this new endeavor. Our prayers and support are with him.

Many churches that have attended THE WILDS of the Rockies have come to camp in North Carolina. We thank the Lord for our continuing ministry with them. We rejoice in the goodness of God for 17 years of ministry at THE WILDS of the Rockies. We continue to hear good things that are taking place in the lives of individuals and churches because of the ministry there. We appreciate the faithful support and prayers for all our friends who assisted us during that time. May God bless you.
