Greetings from THE WILDS of New England

 

On June 8, 2009, THE WILDS of New England began its first official summer of camp on the newly purchased, 105-acre camp in Deering, New Hampshire. God gave us a wonderful (though wet) summer where memories were created, decisions were made, and God was glorified by the many lives that were changed.


What a joy to witness our campers respond to the challenges to be consistent in God's Word, to strengthen their relationships with their parents, and to stand firm against the pressures and temptations of the world. During these past two pioneer summers we had the privilege of ministering to over 1900 campers Many accepted Christ as their Savior, received assurance of their salvation, or made life changing decisions about challenges in their lives, such as friends, devotions, parental authority, and other personal issues. We know that a “decision” means that they are now ready to listen to God and it is just a step in their progressive sanctification. We pray that the decisions they make at camp, combined with the discipline in their daily walk after they leave camp, will result in Christlikeness in each of their lives.
