More In Store Project
|
The More In Store Project is one of the biggest projects we have ever attempted. It is for a new store/resource center and office building at the North Carolina campsite. Our current store was designed for a maximum of 300 summer campers a week, but now we have over 1,100 campers and sponsors each week. We are in need of a much larger place for campers to find good Biblical resources that will help them continue to grow in Christ after they leave camp. As the number of campers we serve has grown, so has the number of staff members needed to efficiently run the many programs that the campers enjoy. Simply put, office space is at a premium. We have several staff members who are involved in administration and/or counseling but find it difficult to fulfill their ministry responsibilities because they must share their office with other staff members (sometimes several staff members). Staff Retirement Fund

This project is designed to help the long-term staff members living on the campsite at THE WILDS have the comfort and security of a home of their own after they are no longer active in this ministry. Their present housing situation is somewhat unique as THE WILDS has provided a home for them during their many active years of ministry on the campsite. Prayerfully consider how God might use you to help these faithful servants who have truly given themselves to help meet the needs of others. |
THE WILDS of New England Improvements
- Raise $30,000 for the cost of the materials for the new Gameroom.
- Raise $30,000 for the cost of the foundation work needed on existing buildings to make them useful for many more years.*
- *A challenge matching gift has been provided for this project in the amount of $16,000. Therefore, every dollar given up to that amount will be matched by an anonymous friend of the ministry. In addition, a very generous gift of over $10,000 in materials has been provided for these projects.

Camper Scholarships
|
As we serve over 12,000 summer campers domestically each summer, and many more around the world through CampsAbroad, we find many campers who need scholarship assistance in order to be able to attend a week of summer camp. Donations given to this fund will be used in their entirety to specifically supply scholarships for needy campers. |
