Teen Camper FAQs

How many people will be in my cabin with me?

 Most cabins will have 7-8 campers and one counselor.

Can I request someone to be in my cabin with me?

When you register, you will be allowed to choose one person to room with you.

Can I request a specific counselor?

Yes. Simply write the request on your registration and we will do our best to put you with that counselor. Sometimes it will not be possible to honor this request depending on which age group the counselor is working with the week you are coming to camp.

What is there to do at camp?

I’m glad you asked! There is more to do than you will be able accomplish in one week of camp: basketball, sand volleyball, soccer, Human Foosball, GaZEEball, Land Trolley, Giant Swing, lake activities, the waterfalls, miniature golf, Water Wars, Superslide, Tubing, Gameroom, Rifle Range, Archery Range, Summit (ropes and wires course), Climbing Wall, and more. You can see specific descriptions on our activities page. I can promise you that you will have to work REALLY hard to be bored during your week of camp!

How many services are there each day?

Most days there are three services. (On Monday there is only one and on Thursday there are only two.) You will be hearing preaching from men who are experienced in speaking to teenagers. They will be talking about things that you deal with. You will have plenty of free time each day, but the services are the most important part of your time here at camp.

What is the schedule like?

You can see a sample schedule. Each day’s schedule has a great balance of spiritual enrichment, all camp activities, and individual free time.

Will I like the food?

We hear all the time that our food is awesome! I can promise you that you will not go hungry. Our kitchen staff does a wonderful job of serving balanced meals that are sure to fill you up. Each meal is served family style which means you get to sit down and enjoy the meal while your smiling waitress brings the food to your table. (No waiting in line or getting back in line for seconds.) You can imagine that a table full of Senior High guys can keep a waitress pretty busy bringing back thirds and fourths!

What if I’m hungry in the middle of the day?

Did I mention we have Snack Shop and a full service coffee shop? We have all the junk food you need to keep you sugared up for a month! (Ice cream, candy bars, Italian crème sodas, mocha freezes, and milkshakes, just to name a few.) These are also great places to hang out, get out of the heat, and enjoy the air conditioning.
