Youth Workers Conference at THE WILDS

Overview

This conference offers instruction on programs, recruitment and training of youth staff, philosophy, counseling, and youth evangelism. It features more than 40 practical sessions in all! Each workshop is led by experienced, fundamental youth workers from around the country, as well as Ken Collier, Ken Hay, Matt Herbster, and Rand Hummel from THE WILDS. There is also a ladies’ track. This conference gets essential information into your hands immediately as each conference family unit will be given a resource pack with a retail value of $40.

Children ages 0-5 may attend this conference with their parents. Child care will be available for them during the General Sessions and Workshops only. The cost per child will be $25. Please let us know in advance of your intentions to bring any children ages 0-5 by filling out the appropriate information on the registration form. Children will not be allowed in the General Sessions or workshops.

Health Services

  • We have several registered nurses on campsite and at least one nurse on call 24 hours a day. Special instructions will be given at camp for administering specialized medications if needed. Our Health Service staff is capable of taking care of most minor injuries and illnesses. We have a great working relationship with the hospital in town should there be the need for anything our Health Service people are not set up to handle.
