Music Conferences at THE WILDS

Overview

Music is such a rich part of our lives! This gift from God has been the encouragement and comfort we have all needed daily and an even greater help at critical times in our lives. That is why it has been such a great privilege for THE WILDS to welcome musicians from fundamental, local churches in America and across the world to this conference for the last 19 years.

 

Join us for the mixture of general preaching sessions, biblical philosophy and practical "how to" workshops, and choral reading sessions which will make you more effective in your ministry of music in your local church. Both trained musicians and laymen alike will benefit from the blessing and refreshment of fellowship around Christ-honoring music at this conference.


*Attention Music Leaders

In addition to the full music conference, there will be focused pre-conference and post-conference sessions specifically targeting the difficult issues that conservative Christian musicians are currently facing. These sessions will provide informal Q&A times with qualified musicians, including Mac Lynch and Tim Fisher, and are open for music leaders on the church staff or laymen who have been appointed the official music leader in the church. There is no additional cost to attend these sessions. Music Leaders, the battle for conservative Christian music is critical, and we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.

How to Register

    Instructions are outlined in each of our brochures to fax, mail, or e-mail a registration form (located in the brochure) along with the deposit to THE WILDS Corporate Office.

Health Services

  • We have several registered nurses on campsite and at least one nurse on call 24 hours a day. Special instructions will be given at camp for administering specialized medications if needed. Our Health Service staff is capable of taking care of most minor injuries and illnesses. We have a great working relationship with the hospital in town should there be the need for anything our Health Service people are not set up to handle.
